Tanya, the hotel manager / maitre d / bartender / waitress/ all things front of house...gave such an exceptional service. No request was too much. Her natural professionalalism and attention to detail shines through in every interaction with all customers and colleagues. She made us feel more than welcome, she made us feel like guests at her home, but at the same time always respecting the invisible boundary of client / customer and remaining 'at our service.' The skills she has are a huge credit to The Hadley, upping it's star rating considerably, because it is always the service that makes the stay...no hotel property alone can achieve this. However, the property was clean, confortable mattress, feather duvet and pillows (or at least feather style), great shower, free on street parking all around, nice design throughout, lovely, freshly cooked to order breakfast, Karen's Diner downstairs was so much fun!! There is even a beauty salón in the basement. Overall The Hadley is a great little hidden gem, boutique hotel tucked away on the edge of North London / Hertfordshire border...who knew! Thanks again Tanya.

This hotel is in the perfect position, just a very short drive from the nearest Motorway, but it is down some extremely narrow roads which are poorly lit, but it's only a short drive to the nearest local underground station. It's close to Barnet and New Barnet in a quiet back street. Its staff are friendly and extremely helpful. With rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday. We had a deluxe room, and it was quite large, more than big enough for the two of us. With a comfy large bed, an iron, a dyson hair drier, and a flat screen TV with Netflix, BBC iplayer, and all the other streaming services included. The food (we only ate breakfasts) was perfect, and the capachinos I drank there were the best I've ever had made for me. The bar is reasonably priced for a hotel, and we didn't use Karens, but from what we saw i would use it the next time we stayed at this hotel as it looked great fun with a brilliant atmosphere. I'd highly recommend staying here. You'd enjoy the warm welcome I'm sure you'd receive.

We booked for one night as needed to stay near the hospital, and so pleased we did it was perfect, the breakfast was fantastic too, cooked to order not the typical buffet breakfasts most hotels do. We were so impressed we book for another night, however due to not being able to leave the hospital that night we didn’t arrive, when we phoned in the morning to let the staff know, they said we could still turn up for breakfast, but we were still unable to leave. Would highly recommend a stay here

A wonderful stay at The Hadley. Every single staff member was extremely welcoming, genuinely kind and brilliant at their job. As someone who works in the hotel/hospitality industry I was seriously impressed. Whoever is in charge should be extremely proud of their team and highly credited for hiring such great people. Breakfast was delicious, with great quality coffee. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Thank you for a great stay. Look forward to returning.

Very good location with underground & overground train links within a 5min taxi ride. The hotel is warm and welcoming with a very nice bar area. The property is very clean & tidy both inside and out having been recently refurbished. All the staff we met were very friendly, chatty and accommodating. Our breakfast was cooked to order and 1st class
